We are a family business who have been designing websites since 1997, when an internet connection was a luxury and Google was still in development!
We started our business working with local clients in the village of Denby Dale, Huddersfield, (The Famous Pie Village!) where we branched out further to provide web presence for a number of businesses within a 30 mile radius.
In 2002 we began building our first ecommerce website, technology back in 2002 made this a challenge and very expensive. We realised very quickly that our local client base didn’t understand the need at the time for an ecommerce website so we decided to run extensive advertising campaigns across the UK to find companies with the same vision as ours, that ecommerce websites were the future.
In 2005 we sold our 100th website, and after noticing most of our clients were jewellers we decided to build specific websites for jewellery products. We began targeting jewellers with our web design products and have built a reputation which today ranks us #1 on Google for "jewellery web design". We have built a loyal customer base, and understand many aspects of selling jewellery online.
By targeting jewellers we found ourselves selling to a large number of clothing boutiques, from clothing boutiques this branched off into beauty spas and salons, which is why although we have built websites for a range of industries you will find most of our clients are jewellers, clothing boutiques or beauty salons.
In 2006 we began developing oscommerce, an "out of the box" shopping cart system which allowed us to build websites quickly on stable software, yet have the flexibility to design websites exactly to the clients brief. This product was very popular as it was both affordable and quick to setup.
In 2008 we built our 100th ecommerce store, and worked intensively on search engine optimisation. In 2009 we had the most successful year of our trading with regards to top Google rankings and turnover via our websites. We built a number of brand new websites and got top Google rankings within months in 2009, the turnover for these clients was immense and we found niche markets which were literally "get rich quick schemes" for some lucky clients.
In 2010 we continue to develop our ecommerce product with a switch from oscommerce to Magento to build websites as professional, affordable and successful as possible. Magento offers state of the art features for both clients and store owners, we have built our new website around this product to showcase its potential.
